Sunday Comix's First Conspiracy Post

First, I'd like to thank Steven Stwalley for inviting me to join this wonderful Conspiracy. I see there's a lot going on here and I'm happy to be a part of it. I'll do what I can to be as active a member of the online Conspiracy community as possible.

Who am I? My name is Max Ink; I'm the founder and organizer of the Columbus, Ohio cartoonists' group Sunday Comix . For my first post I wanted to puff my chest out a bit and share with you the ways that made 2007 a great year for our group in Columbus: our membership swelled to over a dozen regular members (who attend our once-a-month meetings), we hosted a fund raiser for the ACLU, we put on our first group gallery exhibit (there are plans for more in 2008) and our group members now have an open invitation to submit their work to a local monthly arts paper.

Just so ya know: Sunday Comix meets once a month (usually on the third Sunday) at the Upper Arlington Library from 2p-4p. We spend the first hour sharing our work and the second hour doodling Jams and afterwards, we usually hang out at a nearby eatery and chill.

Good to hear that there is now a cell in Columbus!
I have in-laws that live in Columbus. Perhaps during our next trip out there I will try and schedule it around the third Sunday of the month!
Welcome to the Conspiracy!
