Mini-comic Anthology Opportunity

Do you have extra comic stories or strips lying around with which you don't know what to do? Have an idea for a comic, but no place for it? Never made a comic before but think you might like to try? Then Candy or Medicine meets your needs. Candy or Medicine always seeks contributors of all ages and skill levels for future issues. No talent? No problem.

To inquire about contributing, contact editor Josh Blair at info@candyormedicine.com.

Comics generally range from one to five pages. Because one goal of Candy or Medicine is to be accessible to all ages, comics must be appropriate for a general audience. Use popular superhero comics as a general guideline for what is appropriate or inappropriate content (regarding language, violence, sex, etc). Nothing racist, sexist, homophobic, etc. will be considered. We prefer the work submitted to Candy or Medicine has not been previously published, but exceptions can be made.

Please send artwork as a high-resolution JPEG, PDF or similar file. The comic measures 4.25" X 5.5", so artwork must be proportional to that size.

Candy or Medicine publishes on a quarterly schedule in the months of January, April, July and October. Deadline for final artwork to be considered for an upcoming issue is the 10th of the month prior to the publication month (i.e. March 10th for the April issue). Please note that because of the volume of submissions, they will be considered on a first come, first served basis.
