That’s right–The INTERNATIONAL CARTOONIST CONSPIRACY turns 7 THIS THURSDAY!!! And just look how big it’s gotten–It’ll be a damn, unruly teen before you know it. So come on by, do some drawing, have some cake, watch everyone cry when Zander tells us how much his comic writing class hated our pages from last month, and be sure to make your checks out to “Cash c/o Danno”.
The Minneapolis Cartoonist Conspiracy meets at 6:30 until 10:00 the first Thursday of every month at Diamond’s Coffee Shoppe in Northeast.
Generally, we draw collaborative “jam†comics, socialize and drink caffeinated beverages. Afterwords, we often have uncaffeinated beverages somewhere else.
The meetings are open to anyone who wants to draw with us, and the results are posted here sooner or later (and sometimes even printed).
Diamond’s Coffee Shoppe
1618 Central Avenue Northeast
Minneapolis, Minnesota
Please spend some money at Diamond’s while you’re there, even if it is just a cuppa coffee… they are excellent hosts, and we wanna stay welcome there.
Big Time Attic hosts our monthly jam meetings at Diamond’s… they will be supplying us with a big old plate of pastries or something. Thanks fellas!
Waitaminute….are we really having cake?
Sure. Why not. Sounds good, right?
I will come only if there is cake.
My arm is now twisted, Britt.
I’ll bring the cake, you bring a check to cover my pending arm-related medical bills.
Congratulations, Cartoonist Conspiracy!
I wish I could be there to see the birthday party but alas the fall semester ain’t over yet.
I WILL, however, be at the January conspiracy jams, for both Minneapolis and St Paul. And hopefully that Indie Comic Week event thing too.
Have fun eating cake/making comics!
Ahhhhhhhh…. How I wish I could be there tomorrow.
Alas, such is life.
Have a grand ol’ one without me Conspiracy!
Happy Birthday to us…Happy Birthday to us.
Thanks Athena! Can’t wait to see you again!
And Kriske…you broke my heart.
I tend to have that effect on people I’m afraid.
Miss you Danno!
Also, you must see me new ink! Hurrah!
I’m really sorry I had to miss it, everybody!!! I’m glad I didn’t know about the birthday party– that’ might’ve made me feel so guilty I’d have to come no matter what. I hope everyone had fun!
