I know many of my fellow geeks have done video game themed artwork, so I thought I’d let you know about this Video Game art exhibit that’s coming up at Altered Esthetics.

Level_13: Cheat Codes — submission deadline February 15, 2012. “The fifth biennial installment of Altered Esthetics’ classic video game art exhibit will also highlight the abandoned or obsolete technology of decades past.”

The deadline is coming up fast, so don’t wait to submit your best gamer and tech-themed work. Prove your nerdiness by submitting online (click the “Open Call for Artwork” link next to the Tipsy Shrooms image), or by emailing exhibitions@alteredesthetics.org

Visit Ae’s open calls page to see if there are any other shows you can submit work to. And don’t forget to put Suit Up! on your calendar–third Wednesday of every month. Artists of all skill levels are welcome to draw or to model in costume!
